Scuba Diving
I’ve been scuba diving for a few years now. I started the training for my PADI Open Water certification in the middle of February 2005, and I got certified on February 24th 2005 while in Hawaii. I then received my PADI Advanced Open Water on June 26th 2005, followed by Nitrox and Wreck certifications in July and August of 2005, and my Master Scuba diver certification in the spring of 2006.
My eventual goal is to dive the Andrea Doria, which lies in 220 feet of water, although that will require years of practice and training before I have the necessary skills.
If you are in the Chicagoland area and need a dive buddy, feel free to email me. I’ve been going to Haigh Quarry lately…
Below are links to a few of my dive logs, from my Tusa IQ700 computer, in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. I currently have about 90 logged dives. Note that there are a couple errors in the PO2 numbers (I didn’t really use 99% Oxygen at 31 feet), and also that Bonne Terre is fresh water, not salt water
