One of my hobbies is computer security, so I thought I would list some of the sites that I have found useful:

  • Security-Forums - A rather large discussion forum, with quite a few knowledgeable members. I have found the “Cryptographic Theory and Cryptoanalysis” section to be quite educational.
  • TrueCrypt Forums - Discussion related to this open source encryption project. While there are many questions asked that have been answered already (in the FAQ and in the forum) there is still useful information and debate taking place.
  • Tor or-talk Mailing List - Discussion related to this open source onion routing project. Much of the discussion is specific to TOR.
